A Step to Freedom Transitional Living Facility

A Step to Freedom transitional living home

A Step to Freedom is a transitional living home in Mid City Los Angeles that provides housing and supportive services to men who are transitioning from homelessness to entrepreneurship. Our core initiatives are entrepreneurship, family reunification and recovery. The program was founded in 1991 by Kenneth Croom as an effort to support men returning to the streets from the prison system.

Our focus for the remainder of 2016 is to raise funds for a remodel of our facility. If solving the homeless crisis in Los Angeles is a top priority for you join us by becoming a donor of A Step to Freedom! Click the donate button below!
